Reflecting on this past year, there is a lot to be proud of and still room for growth. As a nation, we’ve been through a great deal since the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic back in March 2020. As a company, we’ve weathered through everything from total shutdowns to heightened restrictions in every area we service, often varying from state-to-state and country-to-country. Not only have we made it through, but we are also proud to have been able to help North America continue moving forward with infrastructure and capital projects, helping to ensure that people had jobs to keep them afloat.
One of our greatest achievements throughout this past year and a half is that we have been able to maintain our workforce without any layoffs and placed an emphasis on the LGH family, from employees to our valued LGH partners, above everything else.
LGH began the process of transitioning to a remote work concept in the early stages of the pandemic and has continued implementing new practices to conduct virtual rental center tours for our guests and even to audit our rental centers in an effort to retain top quality rental performance. We made the decision early on to embrace these changes and used the technology available to us to ramp up virtual training for our staff, helping our sales staff increase the excellent level of service we provide to our partners.
With the pandemic affecting businesses around the world, we took the opportunity to reflect inward, examining our fleet and how we can best be of value to our customers. Where we saw needs in the market, we were fortunate to add much needed equipment to our fleet and redistributed some of our existing stock to better suit the needs of each region.
Looking ahead into 2022, as we continue working toward our “new normal,” we look forward to the opportunity to provide the same exceptional level of service and expertise our customers have grown to expect and appreciate for every project.
On behalf of myself and the entire LGH staff, we thank you for considering LGH one of your trusted partners on all the projects we’ve assisted over the past year, and we look forward to continuing our partnership as we move into 2022. Merry Christmas to each and every one of you and your families and Happy New Year.
