Held at the San Diego Convention Center, Lifting Gear Hire showcased its skill and know-how in the field of rental lifting equipment at the 2015 ASME Power & Energy Conference in sunny downtown San Diego.
This four-day conference (June 29th – July 2nd) brought together hundreds of attendees from all across the world including the United States, Canada, Switzerland, and South Korea.
And LGH had the joyous opportunity to speak with students and teachers from various universities and colleges and talked shop with industry professionals and researchers from numerous organizations, publications, and corporations including staff from General Electric.
The ASME Power & Energy conference brought together its four major conferences and included in the itinerary, a keynote speaker, seminars of varying energy topics, and an exhibition hall where LGH shined bright with our spritely lite truss booth.
We were elated to meet so many different professionals and students in one conference and to further promote our message of renting tested and inspected lifting equipment to ensure a safe and successful project.
We also held our reoccurring Lifting Challenge and invited every attendee to participate. With literally dozens of challengers, sparking fandom and cheering amongst the overseeing crowds, the record for the quickest time at the event was 27 seconds!
We were proud to represent our industry at this year’s ASME conference and we look forward to the next one!
