Seeking a profession in the lifting and moving industry? Want to know what it’s like to operate a crane or drive a truck? Here’s your chance.
Organized and created by SCRA, the annual Lift & Move USA program is a two-day event to present career opportunities to teachers, students (17-24), parents, military veterans, and other interested individuals who seek positions in the lifting and moving industry. You’ll be able to network, make new connections, explore career possibilities, and knob-nob with the crème de la crème of the industry’s elite.
You’ll have the opportunity to climb aboard a real crane and a truck simulator to gain firsthand experience, and realize your potential at becoming a masterful crane operator or truck driver. You’ll learn about oversize/overweight transportation and how to use hydraulic gantries, rigging and cranes from industry experts, some of which will be generously provided by SCRA’s event partner, Lifting Gear Hire. You’ll get to see LGH’s equipment on display and visit a crane company on the Tuesday Night BBQ.
So, if you’re seeking a profession as a crane operator, rigger, electrical engineer, field engineer, truck driver, mechanic, welder, lift planner, IT specialist, computer-aided design engineer, sales representative, branch manager, engineer, or project manager, then your future cannot afford to miss this event!
The event is on June 16-17, 2015 at the Chicago Midway Marriott in Chicago, IL.
