The Art of Delicate Lifts, Pizza Oven Moves, & More From This August

Hey there,

Welcome to the August Newsletter! This summer has been one of our busiest yet, and there’s no sign of slowing down anytime soon. With summer at its peak, the days are long, but time is flying by. Deadlines are approaching quickly, so here’s a glance at what’s new at LGH.

We have a new case study hot off the press (or should I say, fresh out of the pizza oven), along with a new YouTube video and a detailed blog post about the art of delicate lifts.

As always, our mission to support essential projects across the globe is at the core of everything we do. We continue to expand our fleet, upgrade our rental centers across North America, and enhance our training initiatives.

Dedication to Learning & Development

LGH employees work on rigging equipment maintenance training at Bridgeview warehouse

In August, employees from various rental centers came together to participate in our internal training sessions. These sessions, led by LGH Operations Trainers Chris Kinder and Andrew Page, ensure our employees are equipped with the technical expertise needed to maintain the equipment you depend on.

Whether you’re new to us or a long-time customer, thank you for trusting LGH with your lifting and rigging equipment needs.

When existing site conditions prevent more traditional means of moving a piece of heavy machinery, air skates are a great alternative. That was the case for Clark Food Service Equipment when they were tasked with moving a pizza oven into a hard-to-access kitchen. Read the full case study for an inside look at this delicate lift.

If a load has an offset center of gravity, sheave blocks can help achieve balance, increase capacity, and support dynamic lifting operations. In this video, LGH’s Beth Kolar discusses our sheave block rental options.
