LGH Donates Rigging for 9/11 Memorial Construction in Benton Harbor, MI

Benton Harbor, MI – August 2011 — Pearson Construction was honored to lead the erection of a 9/11 Memorial in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The memorial’s centerpiece features an authentic piece of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center, serving as a lasting tribute to the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
To bring the memorial to life, Imperial Power Services donated the crane required for the lift, and LGH contributed all necessary rigging equipment for the installation. Imperial Power Services also supplied a crew of Local 324 and Local 150 Operating Engineers, who worked alongside Local 292 Ironworkers to complete the project.
Each member of the team, including those from LGH and partner organizations, selflessly donated their time and expertise to help construct this meaningful monument.
