Confined Space Rescue Tripod & Accessories
- Suitable for multiple uses, from lowering personnel to providing fall protection in confined space environments.
- Serves as an invaluable tool for providing access to confined spaces that would otherwise be inaccessible.
- Provides an anchor point for suspended work but can also be used as a fall arrest point.
- Using a worm gear winch, the rescue tripod can be used to lower material up to 550 lbs. or personnel up to 310 lbs. when paired with a fall arrest block.
*Safety Notes: For personnel lifting/lowering, an operator must always be next to the tripod to operate the winch and fall arrest block. In the case of a fall, the rescue mechanism will engage to raise or lower the fallen worker. You must always use the fall arrest block in conjunction with the winch when using the tripod for personnel.
Anchoring Products
- The Guardian Beamer 2000 is a fall arrest anchor designed both overhead and at foot level with the appropriate lanyard.
- Maximum permitted freefall is 6’ unless combined with equipment specifically certified for extended freefall.
- Adjustable for steel or H beams with flange thickness up to 1.25” thick and anywhere from 3.5”-14” flange width.
- Rated for single-person fall arrest, the structure must withstand loads applied of at least 5,000 lbs.
*Safety Notes: Never use this system in a vertical application. Additionally, it’s important to prevent workers from reaching the leading edge of a fall hazard by always accounting for the fully deployed length of the lanyard/SRL.
- Designed for use in conjunction with a shock-absorbing lanyard or self-retracting lifeline (SRL).
- Also suitable for Restraint and Work Positioning applications.
- Free-moving rollers allow for smooth travel around the work area while always remaining tied off.
- Safety locking toggles allow for easy adjustment and eliminate the risk of accidental clamp slippage.
Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRLs)
- Ideal for busy work areas where there is a greater likelihood of lifeline exposure to contaminants or abrasion.
- Galvanized steel is ideal for non-leading-edge applications.
- Independent Brake Pawls work independently of one another, ensuring a “fail-safe” capability.
- Two height options: 30’ and 130’ for overhead applications.
- Compact, personal self-retracting lifeline (SRL) intended for Fall Arrest and Fall Restraint use.
- Webbing made of Dyneema® fiber contributes outstanding strength and performance.
- Measures 6’ in length for most applications transitioning between anchor point locations.
- 360˚ rotation and 180˚ pivot ensure the block remains in the correct orientation in any working condition.
- Maximum freefall distance: 2 feet
