LGH attends the 10th Annual Bohne Foundation Golf Outing

LGH was recently honored to participate in the 10th annual Bohne Foundation golf outing to raise funds for supporting the foundation’s global charity initiatives. Regional Rental Manager Curt Ward and Rental Representative Mike Penn were in attendance for LGH.

The Bohne Foundation is a charitable agency founded by Imperial Crane Services President and CEO John Bohne. They are active in many global initiatives, including drilling freshwater wells for needy villages, supporting local schools, and aiding children’s homes and orphanages in Uganda. They also support numerous charitable concerns across the U.S., such as muscular dystrophy research, sponsoring substance abuse recovery programs, and aiding in nationwide emergency relief campaigns.

Throughout the Bohne Foundation’s existence, they have donated over $290,000 in medical research, over $450,000 in local and global ministries, over $390,000 to Chicago’s underprivileged communities and anti-violence campaigns, and over $390,000 in scholarships.

The annual golf outing includes a round of golf, a cocktail reception, on-course enhancements, a silent auction, contests, and raffles, all geared toward raising funds for the Bohne Foundation. Among this year’s special guests were Ozzie Guillen (former White Sox manager), Matt Suhey (former pro football player), and Jeremy Roenick (former pro ice hockey player).

Imperial Crane released the following statement regarding the outing, “A truly memorable sold-out event. We raised tens of thousands of dollars for our charitable efforts worldwide. Great weather…open hearts – a memorable day! All funds raised will go to our global charitable concerns. We thank you all for the support.”
