Bridgeview, IL – April 2022 — LGH is proud to celebrate a major milestone: 30 years of membership in the Associated Wire Rope Fabricators (AWRF). This achievement underscores LGH’s long-standing commitment to maintaining the highest lifting and rigging standards across the industry.
Founded in 1975, AWRF is a global organization representing sling fabricators, rigging component manufacturers, and distributors of lifting and load securement equipment. What began as a coalition of nine U.S. companies has grown into an association of more than 400 member organizations across 25 countries, united in their pursuit of safety, quality, and innovation.
AWRF’s mission is to promote the collective interests of companies involved in lifting and rigging equipment manufacturing, fabrication, and distribution. The association provides technical resources, promotes lifting standards and rigging standards, and encourages the advancement of safety programs, product identification systems, and educational initiatives.
