Bridgeview, IL – May 16, 2012 – The Local 597 Pipefitters Union training facility in Chicago and Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) have formed a new partnership focused on advancing safe rigging practices and hands-on education.
The partnership includes an annual rental contract pilot program, securing professional-grade rigging equipment for Local 597’s advanced industrial rigging classes throughout 2012. In recognition of the partnership, the LGH logo is permanently displayed at the training facility — a symbol of the collaboration between LGH, the UA, and the Local 597 Pipefitters Union. This daily exposure reaches more than 7,000 pipefitters who train at the Chicago-area center each year.
LGH is proud to support the Pipefitters Union and its mission to educate the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Instructors at the Local 597 training facility shared positive feedback about LGH’s equipment quality, customer support, and service reliability.
