Frying Pan Tower is a Coast Guard Light Station about 30 miles off the coast of North Carolina that is being restored.  It includes a Bed & Breakfast where the public can stay on the tower for a night or two. Or longer if you so desire.

Getting supplies up and down was not easy – especially in rough conditions.  BETA MAX was glad to supply Frying Pan with a high speed, wire rope hoist to make things a lot easier.

As their Facebook post states:  “We installed an amazing hoist from BETA MAX Hoist that reduced lift time from 10 minutes to 50 seconds! A HUGE benefit when you must hold position to lift cargo! Thanks BETA MAX!”

BETA MAX’s high speed LEO hoists are typically used on job sites wherever materials need to be lifted quickly and efficiently to working height. These powerful, portable hoists are capable of lifting 1000 lb. loads as fast as 80 ft. per minute.

These wire rope hoists combine easy, flexible setups with fast, safe material delivery. Whether they are working at 40 feet or 400’, contractors and subs consistently report 15% – 30% productivity gains with the use of these hoists.  For more information, visit:
