The LGH air skate system allows users to move heavy loads on a thin cushion of air, reducing the coefficient of friction to nearly 1%. On a smooth and level floor, one person can move up to 5,000 pounds with ease. Each system includes a manifold that individually controls the air flow to each specially designed air skid, ensuring smooth, balanced movement and precise positioning.
Available in four- or six-skate configurations, LGH air skate systems can rotate a full 360 degrees, offering superior maneuverability compared to traditional machine skate applications. Capacities range from 15,000 to 540,000 pounds, making them ideal for sensitive, heavy, or complex loads that require controlled movement.
Air skate systems are now available for rent through LGH’s nationwide network of rental centers.
