LGH Safety Standards – Certified Equipment and Audited Practices

Safety at LGH: Our Commitment to the Highest Standards

Bridgeview, IL — At LGH, safety is more than a priority; it’s the foundation of everything we do. From our internal operations to the rental equipment we supply, LGH follows strict safety protocols. These are designed to protect our people, our customers, and every jobsite we serve.

Each year, LGH performs a detailed internal audit at every distribution center. We review all aspects of operations and administrative practices to ensure full compliance with the highest safety standards. In addition to our own evaluations, an independent auditor from the Technical Management Team reviews our workshop procedures, maintenance practices, personnel efficiency, and safety performance.

LGH internal training for the Hydra-SLide skidding system, demonstrating LGH safety standards. Our team also participates in regular hands-on safety training, both in-house and through partnerships with our equipment suppliers. These sessions ensure every LGH employee stays current with the latest OSHA and ASME safety regulations, helping us continuously improve our standards and practices.

Finally, every piece of LGH equipment is rigorously proof-tested and certified before it’s rented out. LGH operates two state-of-the-art testing systems: a 125,000-lb dynamic vertical proof testing machine and a 300,000-lb dynamic horizontal proof testing machine. These are capable of verifying the performance of hoists, slings, shackles, winches, and other rigging equipment.

Through certified audits, expert training, and advanced testing, LGH ensures every lift is as safe and reliable as possible for every customer, every time.
